There is a crisis of leadership which is absolutely appalling. Politicians are now thinking that if they control finance so there are no more bubbles, and if they can solve the deficit problem, with that we’re going back to business as usual. They’re crazy! That’s over! Business as usual doesn’t exist … We are going to have seven to ten years of horror if we don’t understand that it’s not a question of controlling finance. It’s a question of making finance leave the casino and move over to fund the real economy.
